At On His Path, we glorify Jesus by coming alongside those in need, offering hope for a broken world.

Founded in 2009 by John and Jean Mitchell, On His Path sprang out of the abundance of God’s blessings from the success of the Ponseti Brace and Bar System (created by John Mitchell & Dr. Ignacio Ponseti) that effectively treats children with clubfeet.

While the initial focus of On His Path was on ensuring that the Ponseti Clubfoot Treatment Method could be made available to every child around the world especially in developing countries, John and Jean understood that sharing the Gospel message is the most effective way to have a real impact and change lives.

That’s why everything we do is Gospel-centered around the love of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Since 2009, On His Path has partnered with organizations around the world and in Southeast Iowa to bring healing to broken children and adults through 4 areas of focus: Medical, Education, Ministry, and Greatest Need.

Over the past 10 years, On His Path has grown to serve thousands of people every year who are struggling with issues such as hunger, natural disasters, lack of education and medical ailments, just to name a few.

Through our Foundation and the help of generous contributors, over 6,800 disadvantaged kids have received an education and are now in career fields or attending college. Thousands of families across the world now have clean water and are receiving food and medical attention, and over 20,000 kids who live in poverty have been able to receive club foot treatment using the Ponseti method so that they can lead full and productive lives.

Throughout these efforts, hundreds of thousands of people all around the world have heard the Gospel and many have come to accept Jesus Christ as their Savior.

“It is God himself who has made us what we are and given us new lives from Christ Jesus; and long ages ago he planned that we should spend these lives in helping others.” – Ephesians 2:10

Mission Trip to India

In January 2019, On His Path representatives Jean Mitchell (Co-Founder), Julie Prihoda, Gale Johnson, and Lane Wyrick (Videographer/Editor) visited Pastor Paparao Yelchuri in Kakinada, India to witness his work for Mission to the Nations – India.

Pastor Paparao works tirelessly to help many of the most disadvantaged people in India, from lepers to orphans, widows, and the homeless, while sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with them.

Pastor Paparao’s extensive network of over 300 Christian pastors in the Kakinada area are making a difference in the lives of many – last year alone, they were able to baptize 28,800 people in the name of Jesus Christ.

About 2% of the population of India are Christians – that’s nearly 30 million believers in Christ! Thanks to Pastor Paparao and the other pastors, the love of Jesus Christ is being shared with many people who would have otherwise been forgotten.

On His Path is a private, non-profit foundation committed to bringing hope & support to those in need. You can join On His Path in supporting Pastor Paparao’s mission, or many of the other missions around the world. Make a One Time Donation, or become a Monthly Donor, and help people across the globe and right here at home.
